Earphones are great aren’t they? Simply plug them to your ears and whether it’s the roaring traffic, noisy public place or bad gym music, you can listen to your music and cut out rest of the noise. Earphones are a staple item in our bags whenever we go out but give it some time and a mess of entangled wires will greet you when you take them out. Apart from this, there are a number of problems we go through with our earphones. Which is why, here are a few earphone hacks for you to make your life tangle free.

1. To keep your earphones from turning into a tangled mess, take wire and use this simple technique.

2. If you regularly use your earphones but don’t clean them, we don’t even want know how dirty they must be by now. Cleaning your earphones is really important for your hygiene as well as to maintain the sound quality of your earphones. It isn’t really a pickle to clean your earphones; all you need is some liquid soap and a toothbrush to clean your earphones. Firstly, take a dry toothbrush and use to clean dust or dirt from mesh part of your earphones. Next, take a cloth or an ear-bud with some liquid soap on it and clean the rest of your earphone. Do not submerge your earphones into the water or you might end up damaging them.

3. Are you a runner? If you are nodding your head in a yes, you must be aware of how difficult it is to run while using your earphones; those little things keep falling off don’t they? There’s a hack for this problem as well. Take some wire or cable ties and roll it around the neck of your earphones and extend it into a hook. You can place this hook over your ear and your earphones won’t fall out anymore.

4. Bored of how your earphones look? You can revamp your earphones to look better. Take some yarn or thread in different colors and wrap it around the wire of your earphones to quirk them up.
